The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) proudly announced the 24 grand winners of its 2025 Photography Contest during an awards ceremony held at its corporate headquarters.

With the theme “Infrastructure for Economic Development”, this year’s nationwide competition attracted nearly 4,000 entries from amateur and professional photographers across three categories: Conventional, Mobile, and Drone. The theme underscored the vital role of infrastructure in driving national progress and connecting communities.

Eight photographers emerged as grand winners in the Conventional Category, each receiving Php100,000. Meanwhile, 16 winners from the Mobile and Drone categories were awarded Php50,000 each. Consolation prizes of Php35,000 and Php20,000 were also given to finalists in the Conventional and Mobile/Drone categories, respectively.

PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco commended the winners, highlighting the agency’s commitment to nurturing Filipino creativity.

“Your extraordinary talent shows us that Filipino creativity is world-class,” Tengco said. “While PAGCOR’s core mandate includes regulation, revenue generation, and tourism promotion, we are equally proud of initiatives like this that empower artists and storytellers.”

He added that the contest’s theme serves as a reminder that infrastructure is more than just physical structures—it represents the lifeblood of development.

“Infrastructure connects families, fuels industries, and opens doors to opportunity,” Tengco emphasized.
