Officials from the Balikatan 2025 Joint Military Exercise paid a courtesy visit to the Bureau of Customs – Port of Subic as part of their ongoing coordination efforts for the annual bilateral training activities between the Philippines and the United States.

District Collector Noel C. Estanislao and Dr. Leo A. Abella, Chief, Bay Service welcomed Major Javier Perez, LtCol 593 Erik Amstutz, and SFC 593 Josh Terry during the meeting, which highlighted the vital role of the Port of Subic in facilitating the seamless entry of military equipment and supplies for the exercise.

Collector Estanislao expressed his full support for the Balikatan Exercise and assured the team of the Port’s readiness to assist in ensuring smooth customs processing and inter-agency coordination.

The visit underscores the importance of close collaboration between the Bureau of Customs and allied defense forces in strengthening national security, operational readiness, and strategic partnership.
