Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac assured the 37 repatriated OFWs from Lebanon of full government support for their reintegration upon their arrival at the NAIA Terminal 3 in Pasay City, this morning, September 14, 2024.

The OFW-repatriates, along with five children, received immediate financial assistance worth Php 75,000 from the DMW AKSYON Fund. All of them will receive psycho-social, reintegration and other forms of services from the government.

The repatriation of this batch brings to a total of 403 OFWs and 55 dependents returnees from Lebanon since the start of Israel-Hamas conflict in October 2023.
