Following a thorough review of existing processes, the PNP has transitioned from the traditional annual accounting method to a Quarterly “Pensioner Ko, Sagot Ko” (PKSK) Project. This transition, supplemented by the PNP Pensioners Online Accounting System (PPOAS), marks a significant step forward in pensioner management practices.

Recognizing the challenges faced by pensioners in physically visiting PRBU offices, the PPOAS platform allows retirees to engage with their Active Personnel Buddies (APBs) through convenient video calls or house-to-house visits. This eliminates the need for strenuous travel, ensuring that pensioners can easily participate in the accounting process from the comfort of their homes.

Moreover, pensioners can now monitor the status of their pensions in real-time through the PPOAS platform, providing greater transparency and peace of mind. Quarterly proof-of-life photos, a necessary requirement for pension validation, are captured with flexibility, allowing pensioners to choose a pose that suits their convenience.
