A significant event took place as the Philippine National Police (PNP), Lazada Group, Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP), and University of the Philippines (UP) came together to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during the Monday Flag raising ceremony at the PNP National Headquarters in Camp Crame.

The MOU highlights the commitment of all parties involved to combat the proliferation of unauthorized selling of counterfeit and substandard PNP uniforms, insignias, and accoutrements.

The Deputy Chief, PNP for Administration (TDCA), PLtGen Rhodel O. Sermonia, read the message of the Chief, PNP Police General Benjamin C Acorda Jr. He highlighted the significance of research and development in the ongoing efforts to achieve excellence within the organization.

“We all understand the grave consequences that arise from the unauthorized manufacture, sale, and distribution of official PNP items. Not only does it compromise the integrity of our organization, but it also poses a serious threat to public safety and security,” according to Gen Acorda.
